My name is Lisa Bowman and I have lived in Stanfield for over 20 years. Before moving to this beautiful part of North Carolina, I lived in upstate New York-on a dairy farm! Now, my family and I live on a horsefarm on the Rocky River. We trail ride, canoe, and fish in our own backyard. We own several horses and a few dairy goats, and raise Chinese Shar-pei dogs.

For over 20 years I have been a volunteer leader with La Leche League, and have had the opportunity to help mothers and babies. I have worked with youth for the past 10 years as a 4-H leader. I am involved in the Stanly-Montgomery Homeschool Association, the West Stanly Saddle Club, and am active in Love's Grove Methodist Church.
