Brenda Farmer
 I have been enjoying my work in the Real Estate Business since 1979. My husband, my son, and I all live on a 45 acre farm in Frog Pond, NC alongside Big Bear Creek where we raise horses, cows, and vegetables. I love the great outdoors and I really enjoy working with people in buying and selling farms, large and small. We also help people find quaint homes in the local small towns in this area. Growing up on a beef cattle farm in the Ohio Valley area of West Virginia, I have been accustomed to the rural lifestyle for quite some time. Since I started in the Real Estate Business, I have been very active in the local Realtor's Assn. and have held almost every office in the Association of Realtors, including President. I strive to be very professional in my knowledge of this business, and friendly with all whom I come into contact. Though I have lived in this area since 1984, my father still lives on the same farm I grew up on back in West Virginia. He still raises his beef cattle and we occasionally trade cows and bulls. This area, being east of Charlotte, is a growing rural oasis. All around you will find beautiful farms, rolling landscapes, large creeks & streams, lakes for recreation, and wonderful small towns with caring people. While we are only 30 minutes from the booming Charlotte Metro area, we still seem to be immune from the taxes,crime, and traffic of the big city. This area is called "Midland" because of its location directly between four major cities (Charlotte, Albemarle, Monroe, Concord) in four seperate counties(Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Stanly, Union). Our main access roads to Charlotte are Interstate 485, NC Hwy 49, US Hwy 601, US Hwy 29, Interstate 85, and NC Hwy 24/27. Most of our listings are within 40 to 50 minutes of Charlotte/Douglas International Airport. Look on the NC map for the most beautiful lakes around: High Rock Lake, Badin Lake, Tuckertown, & Lake Tillery. Each of those lakes are sequence of Progress Power lakes that are powering dams with the flow of the Yadkin River Basin. Many country and city folks keep summer homes along the shores of these beautiful fishing and boating lakes. We can help you with all of your rural, suburban, and lakeside needs! Lisa Bowman 
My name is Lisa Bowman and I have lived in Stanfield for over 20 years. Before moving to this beautiful part of North Carolina, I lived in upstate New York-on a dairy farm! Now, my family and I live on a horsefarm on the Rocky River. We trail ride, canoe, and fish in our own backyard. We own several horses and a few dairy goats, and raise Chinese Shar-pei dogs.
For over 20 years I have been a volunteer leader with La Leche League, and have had the opportunity to help mothers and babies. I have worked with youth for the past 10 years as a 4-H leader. I am involved in the Stanly-Montgomery Homeschool Association, the West Stanly Saddle Club, and am active in Love's Grove Methodist Church. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds, and would love to help you to buy or sell your home.
